Junior High School<\/h6>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The junior high school marks the entry into the secondary school. It is from 6th to 9th grade. All junior high school students have 28 hours weekly compulsory education, to which optional subjects may be added. At LFA, students benefit from an additional hour of English lessons and starts as early as 6th grade with Spanish, the learning of a second foreign language. The different activities enable us to guide the student and enhance his\/her educational development through personalized support, multidisciplinary lessons and help with homework. In the 9th grade, the student prepares for the DNB exams (equivalent to the \u2018O\u2019 Level certificate exams) and participates in a compulsory internship program at a workplace.
In 2019, the LFA enrolled 150 students in two streams per grade.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Senior High School<\/h6>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In cycle 2 (1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade), the cycle of fundamental learning, mastery of the French language and the basic elements of mathematics are the priorities. The Lessons are taught in French and in English.<\/p>

Cycle 3 (4th Grade, 5th Grade and 6th Grade): enables students to consolidate what they have learnt throughout the elementary school years. They also discover the sciences, technology, history and geography as well as art history.<\/p>

During these three years, the child develops his\/her taste in experimenting, intellectual reflection and imagination.<\/p>

Our elementary school comprises 2 streams at each level and has 307 students enrolled in 2021.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves du coll\u00e8ge ont 27 heures hebdomadaires d\u2019enseignements obligatoires, auxquels peuvent s\u2019ajouter
des enseignements facultatifs. Au LFIA, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves d\u00e9butent d\u00e8s la classe de 6\u00e8me avec l\u2019espagnol ou l\u2019arabe, l\u2019apprentissage d\u2019une seconde langue vivante \u00e9trang\u00e8re. Des dispositifs vari\u00e9s permettent d\u2019accompagner l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve
et d\u2019enrichir ses parcours \u00e9ducatifs ; accompagnement personnalis\u00e9, aide aux devoirs et soutien en langues vivantes \u00e9trang\u00e8res. En 3\u00e8me, l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve pr\u00e9pare l\u2019examen du Dipl\u00f4me National du Brevet (DNB).<\/p>

En 2022, le LFIA accueille 171 \u00e9l\u00e8ves de coll\u00e8ge r\u00e9partis dans deux classes par niveaux et trois en quatri\u00e8me. Depuis la rentr\u00e9e de septembre 2022, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves des classes de coll\u00e8ge se voient offrir la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019int\u00e9grer la Section Internationale Britannique avec deux heures d\u2019enseignement d\u2019Histoire G\u00e9ographie en anglais et quatre heures de Litt\u00e9rature anglaise.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Depuis la rentr\u00e9e 2019, la classe de seconde est une classe de d\u00e9termination qui propose des enseignements communs \u00e0 tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves et pr\u00e9pare au choix des enseignements de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 du cycle terminal.
Le cycle terminal (classes de 1\u00e8re et Terminale) de la voie g\u00e9n\u00e9rale offre \u00e0 tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves des enseignements communs (20h) et 3 enseignements de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 en premi\u00e8re puis deux en terminale (12h) ainsi que des enseignements optionnels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Durant ces trois ann\u00e9es, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019un accompagnement personnalis\u00e9 inscrit \u00e0 leur emploi du temps afin de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques de chacun :<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Les ann\u00e9es lyc\u00e9e se cl\u00f4turent par la passation de l\u2019examen du Baccalaur\u00e9at dont 40% de l\u2019\u00e9valuation est calcul\u00e9e sur contr\u00f4le continu. Des \u00e9preuves anticip\u00e9es interviennent d\u00e8s la fin de Premi\u00e8re. En classe de Terminale, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves passent leurs \u00e9preuves de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 et en fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire des \u00e9preuves ponctuelles telles que le Grand Oral et la philosophie. Le LFIA se f\u00e9licite de taux de r\u00e9ussite chaque ann\u00e9e remarquables au Baccalaur\u00e9at. L\u2019accompagnement de l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve dans la construction de son projet personnel de poursuite d\u2019\u00e9tudes est notre priorit\u00e9.<\/p>
