French education abroad promotes a multilingual and multicultural approach to education. From kindergarten to CM2, our school provides pupils with opportunities to practise languages on a daily basis.
Pupils also discover and engage with the local culture through an introduction to Twi, offered from GS to CM2.
English language learning accounts for 20% of school time for pupils from PS to CE2. This includes dedicated English language lessons as well as CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) sessions, where other subjects are taught through English.
In CM1 and CM2, English-medium learning accounts for 25% of school time.
At the end of each school year, pupils’ English proficiency levels are assessed according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Our school further enriches its English-language provision through the British International Section (SIB – Section Internationale Britannique), available as an optional pathway from CP onwards.
Beyond academic learning, pupils also have the opportunity to take part in extracurricular activities in English, including sports, arts and cultural activities.
