The CCC

WHAT IS THE CCC (Centre de Connaissances et de Culture) ?

A place for learning and discovery

HOURS:

The Documentation and Information Center (CCC) at the Lycée Français International Jacques Prévert in Accra is much more than just a library. Above all, it is a place dedicated to reading, research, and discovery, accessible not only to middle and high school students, but also to the entire LFIA community.

The CCC is an essential educational tool within the school. It is used by classes for research, study, and educational projects, including Media and Information Literacy (MIL) sessions. Students’ work from various disciplines is regularly displayed there. In addition, the CCC hosts board game, decorative arts, manga, and cinema clubs and welcomes students who request to use it during study hall. It is also open during breaks….

The librarian, Valérie Dispagne, assists students with their research, document loans, and the use of digital tools.

Located in a bright and welcoming space, the CCC offers an ideal setting for acquiring knowledge and skills. It has a multimedia room, a reading corner, and spaces suitable for individual or group work, thus promoting student autonomy and collaboration.
