WHAT IS THE CCC (Centre de Connaissances et de Culture) ?
A place of work, research and relaxation. It is open to middle school students and students of 2de, 1ère and Terminale as well as teaching and non-teaching staff.
There are 11 computer stations with free access with the possibility of printing. It is above all, however, a place where one can escape. You will find novels, albums, comics, mangas, periodicals and DVDs. If you also find two librarians, Mr. Longueville and Mr. Sanchez, who are there to help and guide you. You will inevitably find what you are looking for! And if this was not the case yet, do not hesitate to make suggestions for future acquisitions.
HOURS:
The CCC is open without interruption , from MONDAY to FRIDAY from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. except Wednesday, closing at 1:30 p.m.
MISSION:
The CCC’s mission is to welcome any user wishing to work, carry out research, read or borrow documents.
The librarians are keen to respond to requests from students and teachers, to help the former in their research but also to encourage them to read and more generally to make the CCC space a place of culture.
LOAN:
For books and comics: 2 books per user and for a period of 15 days (duration which can be renewed if no other user is requesting the document) –
for magazines and periodicals: 2 also per user , and for a period of 15 days. The last numbers arrived can be borrowed once the following numbers have replaced them on the display.
INTERNAL RULES OF THE CCC:
- Leave your school bag at the entrance to the CCC, and only take the books, notebooks and necessary equipment with you.
- During one hour of permanence, only students authorized by the supervisors will be accepted at the CCC; once installed, the student asks permission to go out to go to the toilet or retrieve things from his locker or school bag, for example.
- Work calmly and therefore respect silence; thanks for whispering.
- Limit travel to the needs of documentary research work.
- Put the books consulted back in their exact place (if necessary ask for help).
- Put the chairs away when leaving.
